Right to refuse
UnGagged reserves the right to refuse you admission if, in its reasonable opinion, your admission to the venue might:
- be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or yourself, and/or
- affect the enjoyment of members of the audience, and/or
- affect the running of the event.
For example, if you act aggressively and/or appear to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs, you will be refused admission.
We may also request you to leave (taking any such appropriate action that may be necessary to enforce this right) before or during events for any of the reasons given above or in cases of breaches of either the Code of Conduct or the Diversity policy.
Should you be refused admission or requested to leave you will not be entitled to a refund.
Event Changes
UnGagged reserves the right to make any alterations to event dates, times, speakers, content, and/or event venue, and will make reasonable efforts to contact audience members to inform them of any changes.
UnGagged will not be held liable for any changes made to the advertised event.
All advertised speakers are promoted in good faith, but we reserve the right to vary the speakers or agenda without prior notification.
Filming and Recording
UnGagged operates a NO RECORDING policy of any and all sessions during the event.
You may take still photographs of screens during sessions, but if the speakers ask you not to take photos or notes, you must abide by the speakers’ request.
Any attendee caught filming sessions will have their badge removed and will be asked to leave the conference.
By attending an UnGagged event, audience members consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed by an assigned UnGagged photographer or videographer.
Audience members grant UnGagged permission and give them the right to use recordings of any type made of their attendance in any and all media. The circulation of the materials could be worldwide and there will be no compensation to the audience member for the use of any material.
If you don’t wish your image to be used, please let us know and we’ll do our best to ensure we do not use any material in which you appear. If you’ve spotted something which is already in use then please let us know by email at support@ungagged.com.
The unauthorised use of photographic, sound or film equipment in the venue is strictly prohibited. The copyright is assigned to UnGagged for any recordings of events produced by UnGagged Events which is a trading name of Selbey Anderson Ltd.
Electronic equipment
All electronic equipment, especially mobile phones, must be set to silent before entering the venue and/or any other spaces where events are taking place.
Smoking
UnGagged operates a non-smoking policy at any conference. This includes electronic smoking devices.
Speakers and Speaker Material
Views expressed by speakers are their own.
UnGagged accepts no liability for advice given, views expressed or any other information given by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates including presentations made by conference organisers.
UnGagged accepts no liability to content including copyright of images or any other content used in presentations by any speaker.
Data Protection
By submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow UnGagged Events and other companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services.
Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications must opt out of communication during the registration process.
The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list, which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to all attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings.
Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise at the time of booking.
Insurance
It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference.
UnGagged Events cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
Health and Safety, Respect for Other Delegates
The conference organiser will undertake a full health and safety assessment, produce a policy which will be publicly available at the event and identify H&S representatives and qualified first aiders at the event.
Any delegate acting contrary to the health and safety policy, whether their actions present a risk to others or not will be asked to leave the conference.
The conference organiser has a zero tolerance rule for anti-social behaviour including heckling, bullying or hassling other conference attendees.
Any delegate not showing appropriate respect for other delegates and the UnGagged community, will be asked to leave the conference.
